1. Attend a Q & A.

2. Complete and return the mentor application to the MMP office.

3. Give the reference forms to three local references; ask them to complete and return the forms to the MMP office.

4. Participate in a short interview with the Program Operations Manager.

5. Attend a New Mentor Training Session.

6. Be matched at a school site.

7. The Mentor Center Coordinator at your school site will contact you about a site visit and the first steps of becoming matched with your mentee.

8. Fingerprinting and TB test -- the Mentor Center Coordinator at your school site will instruct you.

9. Sign the Mentoring Contract.

10. Begin mentoring!
